Bagra waterfall
Located in the southwestern district of Koraput which is home to nearly 62 tribal communities such as Gond, Dhruba, Paraja, Koya, Jeypore is a destination not to be missed. Bagra Waterfall on the Kolab River is a widely liked picnic spot for the tourists. The Shiva Temple at Papadahandi and the famous 32-stepped throne of Batris Simhasan in Nandapur are other tourist attractions that one must visit during the tour to Jeypore.

Papadahandi – Widely acknowledged for Sri Sri Nilakantheswar Temple (Lord Shiva) who is the most respected and worshiped deity of the region. The fragrance of blooming champak flowers during summer make it more charming and suitable for deep devotion.

Sunabeda – Completely dipped in the stimulating landscapes the relatively modern township Sunabeda is worth visiting. This fast developing town owes the credit to fighter plane factory from HAL. The place is situated 20 kms. from Koraput.

Duduma – A day long trip to the full bloomed perennial Duduma waterfall will not disappoint you in any manner. The thundering waterfall amazes everyone with its height (157.5 m) and stands at top among all the waterfalls in Jeypore. Duduma waterfall is formed by Machhakund river. The place is about 92 km from Koraput town.

Hatipathar – Two scintillating waterfalls plunging from river Nagavalli offers the visitor a complete relaxation at this beautiful picnic spot. Natual boulders spread all over the area looks like elephants and hence the name Hatipathar. In local language “Hati” means elephant and ‘Pathat’ means stone. It is about 112 km from Koraput.

Minna Jhola – The nature has bestowed the place with ample beauty. Heart rendering dense forests, reservoir and dam, green meadows, waterfalls and many other endless qualities are possessed by Minna Jhola. The main attraction here is the Shiva temple where festival of Shir Ratri is celebrated by the local tribes with great fervor and devotion. Minna Jhola is 245 km from Koraput.

Gupteswar cave shrine of Lord Shiva, set atop a limestone hill, is a much venerable pilgrimage site in Jeypore.

Duduma - The glittering waterfall (157.5 metres) has been formed by the Machhakund river here. Its waters are utilised to support a huge hydroelectric project. Machhakund is an important place for pilgrimage. It is called `Matsya Tirtha'. A beautiful township has grown around this lovely place. Duduma is about 92 km away from Koraput.

Gupteswar - Lord Shiva reigns supreme at Gupteswar, the famous cave shrine set atop a huge limestone hill, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The sacred lingam is called `Gupteswar', the Hidden God and is much revered as Gupta Kedar by the people of nearby areas who throng the hillside to worship the deity. Shiva Ratri is celebrated with great fervor here.

HatipatharNatural boulders strewn amidst Hatipathar's beautiful environs appear to be elephants in certain light. Flowing through a deep valley, the Nagavali river carves out two wondrous waterfalls in its pathway offering some lovely picnic spots -about 112 km from Koraput.

Minna JholaOn the confluence of three rivers, Minna Jhola is a perfect place to relax and enjoy a day in the sun. The Shiva Temple here is the focus of hectic activities on Shiv Ratri. You can approach Minna -Jhola from Gunupur via Gudari, 245 km from Koraput.
